Mountain Hawk

This one is my very first acrylic, begun at a friends studio. Liz and Doug owned Painted Illusions here in Lexington, before moving to Nashville. Hanging out with Liz one Day, she put a brush and in hand and canvas board in front of me. This is what happened, and lo, a hobby was born!

This one has one color and light and dark neutrals.

This one sold at the AVOL auction for cherity.
Maybe one day I will sell a painting a make a
profit simply for making money.

My grandma liked this one so
it hangs in her living room. 

Brothers Ascending - Sold

This was done in early '04. The
idea was about people ascending
into light, and bringing each other
there.

Here, I was playing with blues and clouds.

This Is A colloage of the first 2 years of my

hobby as an artist. I began drawing one day

shortly after going on medical leave. I was

basically down in the back and fatigued. House

bound, I became bored and began to draw a

house plant. In May 2003, my journey began

anew in "living" color.

Cedar Hill Lodge

Cedar Hill is the dream scape of Rev. Sandy Stone. Her vision is one to provide rest and renewal for God's children. She began to realize this dream last year when the property was purchased.

Old Sod II

I took this on the way to Cedar Hill Retreat Center on opening day. The retreat center is in the hills of North East Central Kentucky.
